Comment Submission Date:13 August 2012 at 23:01:58 UTC
The Charleston Road Registry (Google) application for .est is a clear case of an applied for string violating the rule regarding strings contained in the ISO3166 lists. EST is contained in the ISO 3166-1 alpha 3 list as it represents the Republic of Estonia. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3 and http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/07/02/google_loses_money_applying_for_banned_domain_names.
This application should be rejected on these grounds.
