The .amazon TLD does not remotely serve the public interest: it serves ONE corporation, and that is it. Everyone on the planet is perfectly capable of typing amazon.com.

Giving the .amazon TLD to the PUBLIC, people who live in the Amazon, is the only reasonable course of action. It's deeply discouraging to see how easily bought ICANN is. It is a sad day for the internet, and a sad day in history.
